The go-to event for carnival activities by day or night (think beach parties, street jams, Calypso Competition, food and more). To make sure you don’t miss a thing, we’ve planned the perfect itinerary. Check it out below.

Carnival Events

1August Monday

A highlight for the Anguilla Summer Festival is the hype of August Monday (first Monday in August) in Anguilla and the combination of street jam and beach party equals 24 hours of rave which attracts thousands to the island.

J'ouvert capitalizes on the talents of the local musicians and artists who compete for the title of ‘Road March Champion’. Then comes the August Monday Caribbean Beach Party with local and international artists gracing the stage for over 12 hours of partying on Sandy Ground beach.

2Eyes Wide Shut

Eye's Wide Shut is Anguilla's Carnival Ultimate Day Break Fete, which promotes Musical Entertainment, Fun, Food, And Drinks at Sandy Ground Ballfield commencing at 1:00am.

Eyes Wide Shut is a rather young entity, now in its fourth year of promoting outstanding musical features for the annual Summer Festival activities. Contributing as sponsors to this year’s events are Tropical Distributors, FLOW, the Summer Festival Committee and the Anguilla Tourist Board.

Headliner artistes this year are Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann. On the line-up will be also Iwer George out of Trinidad. DJ Private Ryan, who is part of our family now, will be also part of the show, along with Barrie Hype. The local bands will include performances by Infusion XL, Synergy and all the top local DJ’s of Anguilla.

3Parade Day

In Rainbow City Anguilla, one’s spirit stands to become more en-tuned with nature and find peace in the rejuvenation of one’s soul.

As the morning dew and dawn light meet, we experience this meteorological phenomenon, of cascading hues whose tonality captures the iridescent gyration of light and water. It is in this spectrum of light appearing in the sky that the essence of Rainbow City resides. Its colours are reflected in our people, our experiences, our flora, our fauna, our cuisine, our culture. It is everywhere! This unique beauty is not just seen, it is felt, heard, touched, tasted and most of all, experienced.

In connecting with the many pillars of the Rainbow City experience, the renewal of one’s spirit, strength and peace is inspired by one or more of its picturesque encounters.
